Lichen Sclerosis, Genital Wart
Pap smears are used to monitor the abnormal cell growth and activity, and thus are used to prevent carcinoma in situ as well as invasive carcinoma of the cervix. Frequent pap smears are recommended for those whom have had a history of abnormal cells of the cervix.
