Cancer Cervical Type
One cancer, cervical type, is caused by HPV, which is the number one proven cause of cervical cancer.
80% of women with dysplasia of the cervix were found to be HPV positive. The HPV virus commonly causes this particular variety. The most prominent, is carcinoma of the cervix, otherwise known carcinoma in situ or invasive cancer. There are two common varieties of carcinoma in women.

It is definitely more severe as far as prognosis because of its aggressive nature, whereas, carcinoma of the cervix, takes years to mutate. It causes rapid and uncontrollable cell growth. The other variety of carcinoma is uterine carcinoma of which the origin is not known. One cancer, cervical type, is caused by HPV, which is the number one proven cause of cervical cancer.
