Cervical Cancer In Pregnancy
Cervical cancer in pregnancy can stem from a history of a genital wart, or if cryotherapy has been performed in the past.
HPV symptoms appear when under prolonged stress, or in women who are menopausal, or those who smoke. It is possibly because the immune system is slightly weakened. There are a large amount of women who develop dysplastic cells when they become pregnant.

A C-Section could be recommended at the time of delivery to prevent HPV transmission. Infants, if exposed will usually clear the virus over the several months after birth. It is common to transmit HPV at the time of delivery; however, serious effects of infants are rare.
