Diagnosis On Cervical Cancer
Diagnosis on cervical cancer, caused by HPV, includes tissue colposcopy and biopsy, if significant changes in a Pap smear appear.
To prevent the cells from ever getting to the cancerous stage, the FDA has approved automatic HPV DNA testing of women 30 years or older. This is considered preventative medicine. It will determine if women are carrying high-risk strains of HPV even if their Paps have been normal.

Diagnosis On Cervical Cancer -
HPV, Pap Smear
Identifying the nature and cause of cancerous cells of the cervix is acquired through a Pap smear. After initial abnormal cells are found, further testing must be done. A colposcopy and biopsy of the tissue in question is taken. It is then tested for its origin through HPV DNA testing. Diagnosis on cervical cancer, caused by HPV, includes tissue colposcopy and biopsy, if significant changes in a Pap smear appear.
