Dysplasia Cervical Cancer
Dysplasia cervical cancer precursors might be a genital wart, a manifestation of HPV infection.
Many women are concerned when they have an abnormal Pap. It’s normal to be concerned because of the implications. The implications being that those abnormal cells could some day develop into cancerous cells. This is dependant upon the aggressiveness of the type of HPV, and the individual’s immune health.

Cancerous cells of the cervix are becoming all too common. This is the reason for annual Pap exams. Doctors are trying to detect abnormal cell growth, to prevent cells from developing into cancerous tissue. Pap tests are recommended annually, however some choose testing every 6 months for prevention. Dysplasia cervical cancer precursors might be a genital wart, a manifestation of HPV infection.
