Virus Cervical Cancer
Caused by a virus, cervical cancer begins with cervical dysplasia (impairment of cells causing abnormal structure) which can be treated with cryosurgery.
LEEP procedures, cryotherapy, and cone biopsies are traditional treatments for abnormal cells of the cervix. These procedures can be invasive, and may not be successful at elimination of abnormal cells. A condition caused in a small percentage of cases, by ASCUS, or other abnormal cells of the cervix. The root of its cause is in HPV. Other references are carcinoma in situ or invasive carcinoma. There are over 30 types that are responsible for this condition.
