Dysplasia Of The Cervix

Dysplasia of the cervix and lichen sclerosus are very similar and generally require cone biopsy for differentiation. It takes several years for cervical cancer to develop, so it can be detected easily. The only way to prevent cervical cancer is to have Pap smears regularly. Most cases of the disorder regress on their own, especialy in young women. To prevent this condition avoid having multiple sexual partners.
