Cloposcopy
A cloposcopy, or colposcopy, is used to magnify vaginal tissue abnormalities such as vulvar vestibulitis, human papilloma virus symptoms and cervical dysplasia.
The abnormal tissues may be removed during the same visit with a help of biopsy. The removed tissue can be examined by a pathologist. The procedure is rather simple and quick; a biopsy can cause slight discomfort and minor bleeding.
