Cervix Bleeding
Light cervix bleeding is a symptom of a serious disorder; ASCUS and mild dysplasia of the cervix are usually asymptomatic.
Lacerations (traumas) may also be involved. Trichomonas, bacterial vaginosis, chlamydia, gonorrhea, can cause the cervix to become very friable (soft) and lose blood. Blood loss is generally symptomatic of a variety of cervical disorders, e.g. pelvic inflammatory disease. Friable cervical tissue is very prone to blood loss.
Light cervix bleeding is a symptom of a serious disorder; ASCUS and mild dysplasia of the cervix are usually asymptomatic.

General management of this may include curettage or electro or chemical cauterization. When visible inspection does not provide definitive evaluation other diagnostic tests such as biopsy may be used. Sometimes colposcopy or biopsy are necessary. Screening for infection is often necessary in women who ail of irregular blood loss. Light cervix bleeding is a symptom of a serious disorder; ASCUS and mild dysplasia of the cervix are usually asymptomatic.
