Cervix Infection
A cervix infection, verruca and genital wart can be detected during a colposcopy exam.
Generally speaking, bacterial (chlymadia, gonorrhea, PID) and parasitic (trichomonas) can be cured, the virally related (herpes, HPV, HIV, and hepatitis B can be treated but not cured. (Yeast (candidida), although common, is considered a fungus. There are three general types of infectivity: bacterial, viral, and parasitic.

Bacterial and parasitic diseases are often treated with antibiotics or oral medications while therapies for viral may range from prescribed, surgical, or herbal treatments.
