Leaptest
A leaptest cannot lead to lichen sclerosis, but if a large condyloma is removed, the cervix can be damaged.
It takes about 20-30 minutes and has practically no side effects. During the procedure, a thin wire loop carrying electrical current is used to cut off abnormal tissues. Loop electrocauterisation excision procedure is often used to treat moderate cervical dysplasia and genital warts.

After the procedure slight discomfort and light bleeding are possible for several days. The procedure doesn’t affect the ability to conceive and give birth. The method allows the removed tissue to be examined by a pathologist to provide for an accurate assessment. A leaptest cannot lead to lichen sclerosis, but if a large condyloma is removed, the cervix can be damaged.
