Loop Biopsy
A loop biopsy performed after a colposcopy exam can be replaced with cryosurgery.
This procedure may be done during the initial colposcopy exam, because the problem is treated and diagnosed. It can treat and diagnose cervical dysplasia, often replacing conization. "LLETZ" or "LEEP" is the procedure for removing abnormal areas of the cervix.
A loop biopsy performed after a colposcopy exam can be replaced with cryosurgery.
