Moderate Displasia
Moderate displasia can even lead to infertility and other dangerous conditions of the cervix, if not treated in a good time.
Without treatment this condition can turn into carcinoma in situ, that is actually cancer, but is not spread to other organs. This condition is also called CIN 2 or cervical intraepithelial neoplasia that involves about a half of the cells forming the lining of the cervix.
Moderate displasia can even lead to infertility and other dangerous conditions of the cervix, if not treated in a good time.

There are several methods for treating this condition, such as cryotherapy or cryosurgery, laser treatment, LEEP (loop electrosurgical excision,) and cone biopsy. In severe cases and when the patient doesn’t want to have children in the future, hysterectomy is recommended. Moderate displasia can even lead to infertility and other dangerous conditions of the cervix, if not treated in a good time.
