Paploma Virus
Human paploma virus is very contagious; often the disorders caused by human papillomavirus are asymptomatic, but some patients complain on abnormal vaginal discharge.
About a half of infected people are unaware that they have HPV because it has no symptoms. HPV is very dangerous, because some sexually transmitted types cause genital warts and can lead to cervical dysplasia and even cervical and anal cancer.

There is no cure for HPV, but it is possible to remove warts by laser surgery, cryotherapy or LEEP and monitor the development of cancer cells. The only way to detect the disease is to have regular Pap smears both for women and for men who have sex with men.
