Loop Test
The LEEP or loop test is one treatment after an abnormal pap smear results is received, often the vaginal and penile wart virus is the cause.
It is often performed during the initial colposcopy, if the affected area is rather small and can be treated in a time. Usually this procedure is done for minor abnormalities, such as CIN 1 and 2, ASCUS, but not for severe conditions.

LEEP procedure is used to remove abnormal cervical tissues after a Pap smear has shown abnormalities on the surface of the cervix. During this operation a thin wire with electrical energy flowing through it is used to remove the abnormal cells.
