Cervical High Grade Dysplasia
Cervical high grade dysplasia is caused by HPV and treated with cryotherapy.
When HGSIL is present on a Pap smear most doctors recommend treating it by removing the abnormal lesions surgically. The most two common procedures used are the LEEP procedure or the cone biopsy. Both procedures remove areas of the cervix, which should take all the abnormal cells with it.
Cervical high grade dysplasia is caused by HPV and treated with cryotherapy.

When abnormal cells develop on a female’s cervix from HPV, the amount of cells present determines the level of symptoms. There are three main categories: mild, moderate, and severe. The top two categories are called HGSIL or CIN II and CIN III, but are still just precancerous cells. Cervical high grade dysplasia is caused by HPV and treated with cryotherapy.
