Dysplasia Squamous




When the diagnosis dysplasia squamous cells is determined, (ASCUS), the vaginal wart virus HPV is usually detected. To locate the problem further testing is necessary, such as colposcopy and biopsy. Treatment depends on the stage and preferences of the patient. Mild problems can be treated with biopsy, LEEP, cryosurgery and laser therapy; hysterectomy is performed in serious conditions. This term means the presence of abnormal cells on the surface of the cervix and it could be the precancerous stage of cervical cancer.
