Cervical Cone
A cervical cone or conization is performed after a colposcopy had found warrant for removal, and a penile wart is not related to this.
A cold knife, punch, or colposcopy-directed biopsy is done to obtain a sample of abnormal tissue from the cervix for examination. Patients with high-grade lesions, especially carcinoma in situ, are usually managed by biopsy or hysterectomy. Biopsy alone is usually sufficient to management CIN; electrocautery excision is also an option.

Colposcopy, Penile Wart
After it there may be some scraping or discomfort for a week or so. The procedure is performed underanesthesia fasting for 6-8 hours. The test is done when results of the biopsy of the cervix indicate precancerous cells or if it has not revealed the cause of an abnormal Pap smear.
