Cervical Dilation
Cervical dilation can occur from multiple procedures to remove a venereal wart, and thus can cause infertility.
During the procedure the physician enlarges the cervix and scrapes the inside of the uterus to remove tissue for analysis. "D&C" is conducted if a Pap smear test doesn't clearly indicate whether abnormalities are caused by a problem in the cervix or in the endometrium.
