Cervical Displasia
Cervical displasia is commonly treated through a leep procedure, or a cone biopsy.
The levels of this condition are mild, moderate, or severe. These abnormal cells are first identified during a Pap smear, which will be abnormal if these cells are present. This is a condition in which normal cells of the cervix of the uterus transform in appearance, becoming abnormal or dysplastic.

Cervical Displasia -
LEEP Procedure, Cone Biopsy
The most common treatment for these cells is surgical procedures that remove the abnormal cells on the cervix. These cells, in a small percentage of women, may work into cancer of the cervix. The one and only confirmed cause of these abnormal cells is the Human Papillomavirus (HPV). Cervical displasia is commonly treated through a leep procedure, or a cone biopsy.
