An annual cervical Pap smear is recommended to catch changes in the cervix which includes HPV pre cancer conditions. Cervix plays a very important role during pregnancy. This organ is prone to various diseases: cancer, polyps, inflammation, erosion, intraepithelial neoplasia, dysplasia, and pregnancy. Every woman is recommended to pass through the PAP smear test annually to detect them. Referring to cervix – the cone shaped uterus that protrudes into the vagina.
