Thinning Cervix
A thinning cervix can occur following a leep procedure, and can also lead to infertility.
Some pregnancies may have problems with the cervix dilating preterm (before 37 weeks). Some women go into labor already dilated and others have not dilated at all. In cervical incompetence the opening to the womb, may begin dilating or growing thin over the last month of pregnancy.
A thinning cervix can occur following a leep procedure, and can also lead to infertility.

Thinning Cervix -
LEEP Procedure, Infertility
If left untreated, cervical incompetence can result in repeated pregnancy losses or premature delivery. Any contractions leading to cervical change before 37 weeks of gestation is preterm labor. Preterm or early labor may also cause early cervical dilation or effacement. A thinning cervix can occur following a leep procedure, and can also lead to infertility.
