Cancer Of Cervix
Cancer of the cervix is a potential progression of an untreated venereal wart or genital wart.
Traditional treatments for abnormal cells of the cervix are the following: LEEP procedures, cryotherapy, and cone biopsies. These procedures can be invasive, and may not be successful at elimination of abnormal cells. The doctor should always seek a second opinion when faced with a serious condition, especially one that could affect future pregnancies.

This condition is caused in a small percentage of cases, by ASCUS or other abnormal cells. The root of its cause is one of the strains of HPV. Other references are carcinoma in situ or invasive carcinoma. There are over 30 types of HPV that are responsible for the development of this condition.
