Cervix Bleeding
Cervix bleeding could indicate a human papillomavirus infection and require a cone biopsy of suspicious tissue.
Screening for infection is often necessary in women who ail of irregular blood loss. Sometimes colposcopy or biopsy made be necessary. When visible inspection does not provide definitive evaluation other diagnostic tests such as biopsy may be used. General management of this may include curettage or electro or chemical cauterization.

Human Papillomavirus, Cone Biopsy
Friable cervical tissue is very prone to blood loss. Blood loss is generally symptomatic of a variety of cervical disorders, e.g., pelvic inflammatory disease. Trichomonas, bacterial vaginosis, chlamydia, gonorrhea, can cause the cervix to become very friable (soft) and lose blood. Lacerations (traumas) may also be involved. Cervix bleeding could indicate a human papillomavirus infection and require a cone biopsy of suspicious tissue.
