Cervix Freezing
Cervix freezing (cryosurgery) or electrocautery leep procedure can be used to prevent cervical and vaginal dysplasia.
Performed to destroy abnormal cervical cells showing changes that may threaten cancer, cryosurgery is efficient in 85 percent of cases for elimination of dysplastic cells, except when the cervical changes are located in the upper section of the upper cervical proximity. A cone biopsy, rather than cryotherapy, is then recommended.

LEEP Procedure, Vaginal Dysplasia
Appropriate for surface lesions of known types, it works by causing a cellular icing and thawing cycle. This technique is relatively painless with liquid nitrogen but stings with warmer techniques. For this cautery technique, carbon dioxide snow (infrequently used), liquid nitrogen, nitrous oxide, and commercially blended. Cervix freezing (cryosurgery) or electrocautery leep procedure can be used to prevent cervical and vaginal dysplasia.
