Cervix Surgery
Cervix surgery is generally not required if a Pap smear indicates an HPV infection.
During this operation the womb, the top of the vagina, and all the lymph nodes will be removed, and if you are past your menopause, the ovaries may be taken out as well. If the disease is in advanced form, big operation is required.

Cervix Surgery -
Pap Smear, HPV
For some very early cervical cancers, it is possible to remove a part of the organ with radical trachelectomy, but leave enough to become pregnant and have a baby afterwards, born by Caesaren section. Hysterectomy is a big operation to make sure all the cancer has gone. Cervix surgery is generally not required if a Pap smear indicates an HPV infection.
