Cryotherapy Cervix
In Cryotherapy, cervix cells are frozen and sloughed off (cryosurgery) which differs from a LEEP procedure.
It may be also used to treat HPV on the external genitalia for cosmetic purposes. Injuries or complications are rare, there is a minimal chance of bleeding during or after the procedure, it is the least expensive treatment for CIN.

Cryotherapy Cervix -
Cryosurgery, LEEP Procedure
The term refers to a time proven ablative method of treating early stages of cervical dysplasia, which can be applied in outpatient settings. In the procedure non-toxic gases (nitrous oxide carbon dioxid) are used. The tissues are frozen to -20 degrees. In Cryotherapy, cervix cells are frozen and sloughed off (cryosurgery) which differs from a LEEP procedure.
