Freezing Cervix
Freezing cervix tissue shouldn’t be performed solely on an abnormal Pap smear interpretation; HPV or cone biopsy testing is preferred.
This procedure is the least expensive treatment for CIN and may be also used to treating HPV on the external genitalia for cosmetic purposes. Injuries or complications are rare, there is a minimal chance of bleeding during or after the procedure.

Freezing Cervix -
Pap Smear, HPV
The term cryotherapy refers to a time proven ablative method of treating early stages of cervical dysplasia, which can be applied in outpatient settings. In the procedure non-toxic gases (nitrous oxide carbon dioxid) are used. The tissues are frozen to -20 degrees. Freezing cervix tissue shouldn’t be performed solely on an abnormal Pap smear interpretation; HPV or cone biopsy testing is preferred.
