Prolapsed Cervix
A uterus that is prolapsed, cervix that is eroded or friable are symptoms of cervical cancer requiring a cone biopsy.
There are several options for uterine prolapse. A pessary can be placed into the vagina to elevate the uterus or surgery may be done via a laparoscope to shorten the ligaments that support the uterus. Hysterectomy is done to women who don't want to have children.

Prolapsed Cervix -

Surgical treatment of any sort is necessary only if the patient is experiencing pain during intercourse, pressure, urinary incontinence, urinary retection, or extreme degrees of prolapse.
