Short Cervix
A short cervix may lead to a early miscarriage and may be a result of surgical treatment for a genital wart caused by HPV.
The symptoms of such disorder are: pelvic heaviness and lots of discharge. Weakening from the previous childbirth, surgery, or late pregnancy termination may cause it. Many times a cause cannot be found. The condition is very dangerous and may lead to miscarriage at 18-24 weeks.

Short Cervix -

Cervical canal about 1.5-2 inches long connects the uterus to the vagina and keeps the uterus closed. The cervical incompetence occurs when the dilation goes without contraction in mid-pregnancy.
