Digene Test




A digene test will determine which strain of human papillomavirus is present, which can cause the genital or penile wart. Inoculation with HPV is often asymptomatic and a woman can have no idea she has problems. HPV often leads to spontaneous abortions and miscarriages, cervical cancer, infertility and other problems. The vaccine against some strains of the virus is being tested. A digene test will determine which strain of human papillomavirus is present, which can cause the genital or penile wart.

It is considered to be the most sensitive screening tool for detecting some strains of Human papillomavirus, which is sexually transmitted and can lead to cervical cancer. Pap smear is effective for determining precancerous conditions and abnormalities in the cervix, but it cannot determine HPV itself. A digene test will determine which strain of human papillomavirus is present, which can cause the genital or penile wart.
