Cyro Surgery




Cyro surgery is a treatment for removing abnormal tissue that is diagnosed as a stage of cervical cancer, also known as cryosurgery. A carbon dioxide-cooled probe (a cryoprobe) is used to freeze and kill abnormal cells and lesions. The tissue sloughs off and it is impossible to save it for further pathological examination. The procedure doesn’t affect the patient’s ability to conceive and give birth.
