Cervical Displacia




Cervical displacia is directly linked to the HPV virus, Lichen sclerosus and vaginitis are both also linked to the HPV viruses. There are three stages of this condition: CIN 1 or mild abnormalities, which can be cured by themselves in most cases; CIN 2 or moderate changes; and CIN 3 or severe condition, which is likely to turn into invasive cancer, if left untreated. The cervix is the firm, smooth organ that forms the entrance to the uterus. It is susceptible to abnormal growths that may lead to cervical cancer.
