Mild Cervical Displasia

Cone Biopsy, Colposcopy

It is not a true premalignant disease, it is just a tissue response to the HPV virus. Up to 70% of women with this condition have the immune system strong enough to fight off the virus. Moderate and severe cases should be treated when they are discovered. Mild cervical displasia will sometimes require further investigation with a cone biopsy and colposcopy.
