Severe Dysplasia
Severe dysplasia may involve the vulvar area and is a form of cervical dysplasia.
A loop electrosurgical excision procedure (LEEP), which uses an electrical current to remove the affected tissue, is the usual treatment. After it women are recommended to have a Pap smear every three months for a year, only when the normal condition comes back, resume annual testing.

Severe Dysplasia -
Vulvar, Cervical Dysplasia
The high grade disease (CIN 3) is characterized by markedly atypical cells; the epithelium is surrounded by inflammatory cells. The abnormal cells can be discovered by Pap smear tests and colposcopy. In this disorder there is a chance that the cells are cancerous. Severe dysplasia may involve the vulvar area and is a form of cervical dysplasia.
