The leepprocedure may be the cause of infertility because of the scar tissue that results from the treatment, vaginitis is another suspect. It uses a thin wire loop with an electric current that acts like a surgical knife. A solution is applied to the cervix to show the abnormalities that need to be removed. The procedure is performed with a local anesthesia and may cause light bleeding.
