Lgsil
Lgsil pap is a testing of the cervix cells to detect HPV, usually cryotherapy or a leep procedure is performed on that location if abnormal cells are found.
Squamous intraepithelial lesion means that the abnormal cells are present only in the surface layer of the cervix. High-grade lesions are very dangerous and very likely to turn into invasive cancer, if are not detected and treated in proper time.

If the Pap test is abnormal it may mean various minor or serious precancerous conditions. One of them is Low-grade squamous intraepithelial lesion, also called mild dysplasia or cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN 1). Additional test may include colposcopy and biopsy.
