Either treatment for cervical dysplasia, cryosurgery or LEEP procedure, is commonly employed. Cryotherapy and laser treatments are less invasive than the LEEP procedure or cone biopsy. The LEEP procedure and cone biopsy are more invasive procedures and are used mostly in only moderate or severe cases. These four procedures have varying success and reoccurrence rates. Either treatment for cervical dysplasia, cryosurgery or LEEP procedure, is commonly employed.

This condition is most commonly treated by cryotherapy, laser surgery, LEEP procedure, or cone biopsy. These are also the traditional approaches to treating the abnormal cells on the cervix.
