Coloposcopy
Reasons for having a coloposcopy would include diagnosing the HPV viruss such as lichen sclerosus and vaginosis, but mainly wart causing viruses.
This procedure is usually performed after several Pap smear tests have shown abnormal changes in the cervix. It may be cervical dysplasia, infections of various types, ASCUS, AGUS and other problems that may lead to cervical cancer if left untreated.

Coloposcopy -
Lichen Sclerosus, Vaginosis
In this test the cervix is examined through an electronic microscope called a colposcope. The exam is not painful, has no side effects and can be done even if the patient is pregnant. If there are abnormal cells on the cervix, the doctor will order a biopsy.
